Knowing Bordeaux was for me one of the happiest moments of my stay in France. I made a fantastic trip with my new French friend Natacha, we left the city of Biarritz (also a stunning place, which I’ll tell in another post) to Bordeaux by train, our ticket cost 49.00 euros each, the TVG train, very fast, beautiful and modern inside provided a journey with a beautiful landscape.
We reached Gare de Bordeaux – St. Jean, located in the city center, there began my impression of the beautiful and inviting city of Bordeaux.
We went to our hotel VLT (Light Rail), opened in 2003, under rail transportation has changed the dynamics of the displacements of the city, serving more than 6 million users month with only 45km of trails available.
After a well-deserved night’s sleep with-2C °, woke up early and we were close to our destination was the Grand Hotel in Bordeaux, where he later had a meeting before we choose a charming coffee for our breakfast.
Napoléon3 Café, a typical French café, with Neoclassical decoration.
Our request was a typical breakfast with orange juice, the beautiful and unique French croissants, chocolate, jam, butter “President” of course, for them is the most common …. and the view of the School of Bordeaux wines.
If the Bordeaux, this is a great choice for a great day in this wonderful city in which I fell in love!
